Yaletown Condo Rentals

Yaletown Condo Rentals

Yaletown Condo Rentals in Vancouver has some incredibly unique high-rise building rental opportunities. The waterfront along the north of False Creek was host to the 1986 World’s Fair. Since then, this area has become one of the city’s chicest neighbourhoods, filled with residential loft spaces, sidewalk cafes, fabulous restaurants, unique shopping, and parks. Along the south side of the downtown Vancouver peninsula, Yaletown is bordered by Homer Street, Robson Street and False Creek. Since Expo 86, the 204 acres have been carefully transformed into an urban residential oasis that combines the best of the waterfront with the vibrancy of the urban atmosphere.

In the 1960s, the downtown core of Vancouver began its “high-rise transformation.” Yaletown still held its industrial zoning status, so many warehouses were spared demolition. Urban professionals started to take note of the warehouses so conveniently located near the downtown core. In the later part of the 70s and the early 80s, renovations and restoration began on some of these warehouses. Restaurants, nightclubs and retail stores became tenants. Recognizing the potential, the City of Vancouver rezoned the area in the mid-80s, thus encouraging the conversion and renovation of the existing warehouses and the construction of appropriate new buildings. The intent was to establish a compatible and contemporary mix of commercial, industrial and residential usage. Several “loft-style” residential conversions and new construction have significantly increased the residential flavour of this downtown Vancouver area. Concord Pacific has successfully blended high-rise and low-rise townhouses and condos, state-of-the-art facilities with breathtaking views and green space. The result is a comfortable, walkable, liveable community that is a pleasure. See all our rental listings for Greater Vancouver.
